Chas Town the 1st day of January 1753 Henry Starach

The Said Petition being considered and the petitioner appearing and swearing allegiance to his Majesty and to the Truth of the allegations in his said petition the prayer thereof was granted and the Deputy Secretary ordered to prepare a warrant and the surveyor General, layed out the 100 acres of land prayed for that a grant may _____ to him for the same ordered _____that they Secretary General pay the charges and Bounty.

Read the Petition of Ulrich Starach humbly setting forth that the petitioner embarked on board Captain Mason’s Ship at Rotterdam and came Directly to this province in Captain Russell’ as appears by the certificate of Mr. Sinclaire hereunto annexed. The Petitioner is desirous of living in this province and has a wife and one son for whom nor yet for himself has any land been as yet assigned to him and therefore he humbly prays his Excellency and their Honours to order the Surveyor General to admeasure or cause to be laid out to the petitioner 180 acrea of land free of charges, and that he may have his most gracious Majesty’s Provision Bounty and the Petitioner as in Duty bound shall ever pray.

The Said Petition being considered and the petitioner appearing and swearing to the truth of his Said Petition and Family Right and ______ allegiance to his Majesty the Prayer Thereof were granted and the Dept Secretary ordered to prepare a warrant and the surveyor General to lay out the 180 acres of Land prayed for that to a grant may ______ to him for the same ordered also that the Commissary General do pay the charges and Bounty.
