Margaret Waters author of A Preliminary Study of the Colonial Landowners of Orangeburgh Township, SC 1733-1749 has designed this site as an aid to researchers. A collection of survey plats of colonial and state grants around the Orangeburgh District focusing on the land between the North and South Edisto River and expanding to the North Side of the Edisto and then into the area of Orangeburgh Township.
