The said petition being considered and the said petitioner appearing
and swearing to the truth of the ----- in his said Petition and allegiance
to his majesty is thereof was granted and the Dept of Surety (?) ordered
to prepare a warrant and the survey at the general today(?) the 200
acres of land to the petitioner that so that he may obtain a grant for
the same ordered that the Comm. General do pay the charges and his majesty’s
bounty to the petitioner.
Read the Petition of Henry Starach~humbly set forth~that the petitioner
arrived here in the Edinburgh Captain Russell embarked on the board
of Captain Mason at Rotterdam with intent to come to this province and
on the encouragement given to foreign Protestants the petitioner has
a wife for whom not yet for himself has any land been assigned and therefore
he humbly prays his Excellancy and their Honours to issue an order to
the Surveyor general to run out or cause to be run out to the Petitioners
100 acres of land in such part of the province as most agreeable to
the Petitioner free of charges and that he may have the most gracious
Majesty’s Bounty. Petitioner as in duty bound shall ever pray.

The said petition being considered and the Petitioner appearing and
swearing allegiance to his Majesty and to the truths of the allegation
in his said petition the prayer thereof was granted, and the Deputy
Secretary ordered to prepare a warrant and the Surveyor General to lay
out the 100 acres of land prayed for that ---grant ---- may to him for
the same ordered ------ that the Commisary General do pay the charges
and Bounty.
Read the petition which Starch humbly setting forth that the petitioner
embarked on board Captain Mason’s ship at Rotterdam and came directly
to this province.
