Sacred to the Memory of Mrs. Marcella Jeffcoat, Consort of J. A. Jeffcoat
She was born September 19, 1819 and died September 22nd 1856.
She joined the Methodist Church in her 14th year and for more that 20 years she was a
consistent and devoted Christian having a strong and unwavering confidence in the promises
of God.  She was ever resigned to his will.  As a wife she was ever resigned to his will.
As a wife she was ____ a help _____ and in all temporal as well as spiritual,
her husband could confidently trust in her sound judgement and Christian Counsel. 
As a Mother she ever endeavored to train up her children to the nurturing and
admonition of the Lord.  She leaves seven children, one infant to mourn
 their irreperable loss.
