They arrived in Philadelphia on the Phoenix on Oct. 4 1752 and continued to Charleston on the Edinburgh.

1 December 1753 Lease by Ulrich Starach Sr. to Brand Pendarvis of 150 acres of land on the West side of the Pon Pon;

December 2, 1753 Release and sale by Ulrich Starach Senior and wife Margaret to Brand Pendarvis of 150 acres of land in the fork of the Edisto butting and bounding Northeastward on Pon Pon River. This elder Ulrich was referred to as "Ulrich Senior" to distinguish him from his godson Ulrich.

Married Margarita Sterchi #142, d/o Christian Sturkie/Anna Furer. They were first cousins.

This Ulrich referred to as Ulrich Sr.

Arrived Philadelphia 1752 with wife Margarita, son Christian and cousin Ulrich Jr.

On 5 Dec 1720 when Ulrich (Sr.) was 26, he married Margarita Sterchi (22) , daughter of Christian Sterchi (10) & Anna Furer, in Switzerland. Born on 19 Jul 1705 in Matten bei Interlaken, Switzerland. Margarita died in Orangeburg, SC.

Research: Aug 28 1750 Heinrich arrived in Philadelphia on the ship Phoenix (Strassburger and Hinke, Vol. 1, List 154C, page 442}7

Arrived America 1750 from Philadelphia via Rotterdam. Arrived in Philadelphia August 18, 1750 and embarked on the Edinburgh to Charleston.8

On 7 Jun 1725 when Heinrich was 23, he first married Margarita Ritschard. Born in 1684 in Switzerland. Margarita died in Switzerland on 28 Jan 1730; she was 46.
