Jerucia Francis Williamson and John Calvin Williamson were married after 1833 in North Carolina. John Calvin Williamson (son of Jesse Williamson and Kessiah (or Heziah)) was born in 1811 in South Carolina. He died in July 1857 in Newton County, Mississipppi. John Calvin Williamson was called "Col. Henry," according to an account from Mildred Wilheim. John Calvin Williamson and Jerusha Williamson were first cousins, as their fathers were brothers. Much of the information on the Williamson family came from Mildred Wilhelm's notes, which were from interviews with Medline and Celia Perkins prior to 1941.
"John Calvin and Jerusia Frances Williamson were married in North Carolina. They had another baby that died as an infant. Medline knew two aunts and two uncles on her mother's side. Both uncles were Missionary Baptist preachers. One aunt married a Blakely. The generation before John Calvin were also first cousins."
