Bible notes indicates Harriet (born 9/18/1833) and Rachel (born 1/4/1836) but does not list Ruth.
The 1840 Newton County, MS shows a Charles Williamson of the appropriate age to be this Charles. He owned 9 male slaves and 8 female slaves.
Children of Charles and Mary Hoover Williamson were taken from Bible record, A copy received from Faye Abernathie in 1995.
Charles and Mary both died in 1842 Newton Co, MS. according to this record. They are buried at Liberty Church Cemetery, Duffie, Newton Co. MS. with other Williamson relatives. (source) Mrs. Russell, caretaker of Liberty Church Cemetery. Charles and Mary Hoover Williamson were parents to fifteen children listed in Bible record and counted through census records, With John Thomas being the fourteenth child and his brother Augustus J. the last child listed, Augustus is most likely the A. J. Williamson listed on 1844 Newton Co, MS. Tax roll. The oldest son Joseph Absolum and son David C. Williamson were Administrators of the estate of Charles Williamson and Mary Hoover Williamson.
August 2004: I did locate Charles Williamson's and Mary Hoover's burial site. They are in unmarked graves, but I have narrowed it down to two of about 15-20 sites in the Liberty Church Cemetery in Little Rock, Mississippi. May have been born in North Carolina.
