Mrs. Ruby Lee Sturkie Mills, 81, of Gaston, died Friday.
Born in Gaston, She was a daughter of the late Z. A. W. and Josephine Hayden Sturkie. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gaston.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Anne M. Lewiston of Maine and Mrs. Lois B. Logan and Mrs. Gardenia H. Northcutt of Lexington; sons, Edwin J. Howell of Lexington and Norton R. Sturkie of Columbia; grandchildren; and great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 4 pm Sunday at the First Baptist Church of Gaston, conducted by the Rev. Bill Paulling.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 pm today at Thompson Furnerl Home in West Columbia.
