Died, on the 15th of November, 1880, at the age of 7 months, 2 weeks and 6 days, bright little Belton Prescott, the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin R. Sturkie.
Small as an infant's grave it contains the greatest joy of a large circle and especially those to whom he was so dear by the tie of parental affection. His absence will ever cast a gloomy shadow over the sanctuary of home. Never while the heart of that mother, beats in her bosom will she forget how pitiful he would look up in her face and say ma! when seized by the straggle of death, as if he thought she could give him relief. How hard it is to parents to part with those little ones so near and dear to them; especially to see them consigned to the cold grave. But he has gone to join the Heavenly choir of those little ones that have gone before in the Paradise of God
