Notes for Martha Ann (Spouse 1)
It has been speculated that Martha Ann is the daughter of Nicholas Rickenbacker. Nicholas had two females aged 16-26 in his household in the 1800 census. One of these could have been Martha.79

I speculate that Martha Ann (Rickenbacker) Sturkie, born abt. 1781, was the daughter of Nicholas(1) Rickenbacker but the evidence is thin and I'm currently carrying her as a missing link. If her birthdate is approximately correct, then Nicholas(1) is the only Rickenbacker in the
1800 census with unaccounted for females of the right age.

All of my information on Martha came from the Sturkie family. By my count, there are approximately 20 un-accounted for Rickenbackers in Generation 4. Martha is probably one of these. My web page on the First Rickenbachers gives the probable number of chlidren in each Generation 3
family and lists those I can identify.
