PIONEER FALCO WOMAN EXPIRES
FUNERAL HELD FOR MRS. ADELINE PARKER AT BEDA CHURCH THURSDAY
Mrs. Adeline Parker, 84, passed to her reward last Wednesday afternoon at her home near Falco.
The deceased lived her entire life in this county and left many friends to mourn her death. Having the distinction of being the only charter member of Beda church, Mrs. Parker lived a Christian life. For fifty-four years she had been a member of Beda Church and she devoted her life to her church and family.
She is survived by one son, Dan Parker, of near Falco and two daughters, Mrs. Betty Killingsworth, Roberts, Ala., and Mrs. Sallie Hart, of Andalusia.
Funeral services were conducted at Beda Church Thursday afternoon. Rev. Hawke, of Chipley, paid a beautiful tribute to the life of the deceased and said that her life spoke for itself.
She was laid to rest in Beda cemetery, with Benson and Company directing.

PIONEER CITIZEN CLAIMED BY DEATH
EMORY PARKER, AGE 81, DIES AT HOME NEAR FALCO TUESDAY AFTERNOON
Death has removed another one of Covington County's pioneer citizens. Emory Parker who passed the eighty-first mile stone in life died at his home near Falco Tuesday afternoon after serving a life of usefulness to himself, his family, and his neighbors. He was born and reared near where death overtook him and was respected and admired by all who knew him.
He is survived by a wife, one son and two daughters; son, D.M. Parker, Falco; Mrs. S.J. Killingsworth, Roberts, Ala.; and Mrs. T.B. Hart, Chipley, Fla. Interment took place in the Beda cemetery Wednesday with Benson in charge and was largely attended by admiring friends.
