Know all men by hese Presents, That John C. Jefcoat of the State and County aforesaid in consideration of Two Hundred and Seventy-Nine $ to me paid by Henry E. Jefocat. Have granted and sold and released to Henry E. Jefcoat a certain plantation or tract of land containing one hundred and thirty acres more or less situated in the state and county aforesaid on waters of the North Edisto River, South by Schoenburg, Together withal, to have and to hold.
