“Aunt Maggie and Uncle Ab spent the first years of their married life renting land from Grandpa Luker. Uncle Ab was an itinerant Methodist preacher. Later the family members joined the Nazarene Church; and he continued to preach under Nazarene sponsorship. Uncle Ab was Irish. Both he and Aunt Maggie enjoyed a good joke; also they were deeply religious.”

“Maggie and F. A. Tucker married Dec. 4, 1887 in Comanche County, Texas. Maggie taught F. A. to read using the Bible as a text book. He later became a Methodist preacher. Later, he became a Nazerine , which he followed until his death. Maggie died with cancer.”
