Jacob Jeffcoat was born in England ca. 1725-35.
The King of England ordered more solders to be taken to the New World, To fight in the French Indian War.
Jacob Jeffcoat was taken off his land in Warwickshire, England and thrown into the services of the Kings Army. He had been in the process of plowing his field with the use of a white steer and plow, witch were left standing in the field. Jacob Jeffcoat was forced into the services of the King and in the year of 1756, brought to the New World to fight in the French Indian War.
He came to America as a soldier in King George II's army which he Fulfilled in 1759.
He settled in South Carolina where many of his descendants are still found. Contains genealogical data on his descendants including some allied families.
